Carbon monoxide could have been to blame for the death of a 59-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman in Eden Street, Coldhurst on Friday. The bodies were found by police and paramedics at around 12pm after a family member concerned for their welfare raised the alarm. After a post mortem proved inconclusive, a toxicology test will now be carried out to determine the causes of death.
