If you have been the victim of a comminuted fracture which has been caused by the negligence of another person then you could be eligible to make a compensation claim to cover any additional costs that you have incurred in addition to any out of pocket expenses that you have suffered from.

What is a Comminuted Fracture?

A comminuted fracture is generally different to a traditional fracture in that it involves the bone being broken in more than one place. While a traditional break can usually be repaired quite quickly with just one area of the bone to heal, a comminuted fracture tends to be far more difficult to fix as it can result in the bone becoming splintered or even crushed into a number of different pieces and accordingly it can involve a great deal more surgery and even the replacement of certain parts of the bone, before the healing process can begin.
